Joe Patton, Chief Revenue Officer, has a passion and commitment to expanding access to technology. In his role, he builds and maximizes revenue for LSC and its stakeholders with the goal of delivering the resilient network infrastructure necessary for businesses to compete and win today, and well into the future.
With over 34 years of telecommunications experience, Joe previously held leadership positions at several fiber companies, including Southern Telecom, A Southern Company affiliate, Uniti Fiber, Global Capacity, and FiberLight, along with management responsibilities with XO and MCI. Joe holds an associate’s degree in construction management from Gwinnett Technical College and studied business management at Georgia State University. Additionally, he is pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Georgia.
In addition to his professional experience, Joe offers his expertise in various organizations, including formerly serving on the board of the Technology Association of Georgia and current member of the board of North Georgia Networks, and as co-founder and board member of Sage School, a private, nonprofit, Christian school for students with dyslexia. Joe and his wife live in Athens, Georgia, and have five children. He enjoys hunting, shooting sporting clays, playing soccer, and spending time with his family.
